About Me...
                   and my Philosophy on Life

"Yes, I can!" is more than a motto for Lora Swoape.

It's a mindset.  It's a lifestyle.  It's a CHOICE.

In 2018, Lora found her world turned upside down when she suddenly could not move her body.  After a lengthy and complicated evaluation process, Lora was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) - a rare neurological disorder (a form of peripheral polyneuritis) characterized by pain and weakness and sometimes paralysis of the limbs.

"This is my journey.  I must have taken it for some higher purpose than simply learning to endure, to walk again, to use my body again.  I must be able to help others who have found themselves in situations they never imagined.  Others who can benefit from my experience, my insight and my never ending supply of hope and good will."

Lora is a certified Coach, using cutting-edge neuroscience techniques to support clients in mindset, resolution of limiting beliefs and the ultimate...."so what, now what?"

In addition to coaching, Lora offers a series of signature talks at her speaking engagements to bring awareness to the reality of living with a debilitating affliction.  She speaks to healthcare administration and clinicians about the needs, spoken and unspoken, of those on the other end of their care.

And because a picture tells a thousand words...
